Wag n' Bietjie is a small nature reserve about 20km outside Bela Bela / Warmbaths on the Alma
road. The base camp consists of various huts with a braai / barbecue area and showers.
Day one takes one up into some hills and at one point the trail goes underneath some rocks. The
area is typical Limpopo bushveld. When we visited in winter it was quite dry. The overnight
accommodation consists of some huts and has a donkey / boiler for hot water for showers.
Near the overnight huts there is a spring that bubbles fresh water year round.
Day two takes one straight back to the base camp across the hills.

It's a pleasant enough trail with well equipped camps. Parts of the trail goes through some
interesting areas. Some of the areas did have cattle in them and were heavily grazed. We found
day two rather short, so there is no need to leave too early from the overnight camp that day.
