For a rustic getaway into the bushveld, or place to celebrate something with friends, give Kuthaba Bushveld Lodge a try.
The facilities are wonderful and there is plenty to keep one busy with as well. From hiking trails, 4x4 trails, mountain biking, and game drives, it's a great place for a few days away. The pool and Lappa with bar inside are very cozy. There is a lovely Boma where one can make a great big camp fire to sit around in the evenings.
The bushveld at Kuthaba is the typical Limpopo province bush that one finds in the northern part of South Africa, with plenty of leafy trees and not many thorn trees.

For two years in a row our hiking club held its annual Christmas party here and I can tell you it's a great place to experience the bushveld or just to relax and get rid of the city stress. We stayed in one of the little thatched safari tents. The fittings and ornaments inside are true works of art! Kuthaba has been put together with a lot of thought and talent going into everything. The hiking trail through the surrounding bush was a lot of fun. Just remember the place tends to get quite hot in summer.
