The Musina Nature Reserve is situated 10km south of Musina on the N1.
Although game is present the real attraction are the numerous Baobab trees. These trees look like
planted upside down with the roots sticking into the air (especially in winter when all the leaves
had fallen off). When they are fully grown they are huge and an impressive sight. The best way to
experience the size of the Baobab trees and to have a closer look at them is to go on the laid out
walk. They also differ in shape and some are darker, others brighter as you can see on the photos.

The Musina Nature Reserve offers a walking trail and picnic sites and is well worth a visit because
of the Baobab trees.
The trail markings get a bit vague at about the halfway mark and it is easy to loose the trail at
this point. However, if one just heads due west again one can find ones way back as the bush is
not too thick.
