The Limpopo province is South Africa's northern most province and borders Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Most of the Waterberg is situated in the province which was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. The area contains mainly bushveld and many archeological finds have been discovered relating to early human beings. A large amount of private game farms and lodges can be found throughout the province precisely due to the beautiful scenery.

A good deal of the countries hot mineral springs can be found in Limpopo province, such as Warmbaths / Bela-Bela and Tshipise. One of the unique items of this province must be its Baobab trees. These huge trees can reach trunk diameters of 15m and some are thought to be thousands of years old. An excellent place to view them is in the Musina Nature Reserve just south of the Zimbabwe border.
